Nazriya Nazim born 20 December 1994 is an Indian film actress, producer and television host in the South Indian film industry. She made her acting debut as a child actress in Parunkh (2006) and as a lead actress in the Malayalam film Maad Dad (2013). She has appeared in films such as Raja Rani (2013), Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) and Bangalore Days. Nazriya is the daughter of Nazimdeen and Begum Beena. She has one brother named Naveen. Nazriya studied at Christ Nagar School and Our Own English High School in Al Ain, UAE. She has stated that she wants to study something related to business and could pursue a Commerce course or a BBA course. In 2013, she attended Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram for a BCom degree but reportedly dropped out due to her busy filming schedule. 

Her family lived in Al Ain, UAE before transferring to Thiruvananthapuram. Nazriya met Fahad Fazil in 2014 while shooting for the  film Bangalore Days. They got engaged on 20 January 2014, before the film’s release, and married on 21 August  the same year. Before chasing a career as an actress, she started her career as a television anchor in the television channel Asianet, Malayalam. She build her debut as a child actor in the Malayalam film called Palunku, which is directed by Bressy, in the year 2006. A few years later, she made her debut in the female lead role in Maad Dad. The film was released in 2013 and received mixed reviews from  audiences and critics. She then starred alongside actor Nivi Pauly in the films Neram (2013) and Om Shanthi Oshana (2014). She build her Tamil debut in 2013 in the film called Raja Rani which is directed by Atlee, with Arya, Nayanthara and Jay in the lead roles. The film was a huge box office hit and made Nazriya  a familiar face among the Tamil audience. She then appeared in the film Salala Mobiles, directed by Sharath Haridas, in 2014.
