Her father, Pradeep Motwani, is a prominent businessman, and her mother, Mona Motwani, is a dermatologist. Despite her family’s background, Hansika carved her path in the entertainment industry, driven by her passion for acting.
She made her debut as a child artist in the popular Indian TV serial, “Shaka Laka Boom Boom,” where she played the role of Karuna, the best friend of the lead character. Her exceptional acting skills were evident even at a young age, and it was only a matter of time before she made the transition from television to the silver screen.

Hansika’s big break in the Indian film industry came when she was cast as the female lead in the Telugu film “Desamuduru” in 2007, opposite the popular actor Allu Arjun.
