Amy Jackson was born on January 31, 1992, on the Isle of Man, a self-governing territory between England and Northern Ireland, to Alan and Margherita Jackson. She has an older sister named Alicia and her family moved to Liverpool, England around 1994. Amy studied at St. Edward’s College in Liverpool. She then studied English, philosophy, and ethics.
She also started working as a model. Amy won the Miss Teen Liverpool and Miss Teen Great Britain beauty pageants, and in 2009 she competed in and won Miss Teen World. Her win thrust her into the limelight, and she soon received numerous modeling and acting offers. In 2010 she was crowned Miss Liverpool and came second in the same year’s Miss England competition.
