Applicants within the age range of 18 to 24 years as of January 12 are eligible to apply for the available positions. Age limit relaxation will be received by Reserved category applicants. The selection process involves a written test comprising objective-type multiple-choice questions – MCQs. According to Indian Oil Corporation Limited – IOCL, the apprenticeship and training period is set at 1 year.

The stipend paid to apprentices each month will adhere to the rates specified under the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules of 1992 (as amended), and IOCL’s guidelines. For the selection, a written test will to conducted for the candidates, the written test will consist of 100 questions, and the total marks allocated for the examination will be 100. Each question carries a value of 1 mark, and incorrect answers will incur negative markings.
